  1. I converted my avi file in tempgenc pal svcd setting then burnt it using vcdeasy. I had trouble with the aspi driver for my iomega cd writer but downloaded the file and got the cdrdao working. It defaulted to 4x for speed and i left it at that however my cd writer is 48. Anyway it said it had been successful. My sharp dvd player is dv-nc55h. According to sharp it should be able to play some vcds. The svcd didn't play on my friends dvd also. My dvd said wrong disk type. Any advice would be appreciated. This is my first conversion

    Does AVI play?

    Does the encoded MPG play?

If both plays, and the VCD doesn't, it must be wrong format or bad burn.
