    Is there a link here that can help me? I need to convert real player videos to .mpg so I can burn them on VCDs. Any help? Suggestions? Thanks.

    Streambox vcr suite is what you want. The company doesn't make it available any more due to legal reasons but a google search or a p2p program could provide a way to get a copy. Now that Real has pulled up their skirt and shown their source code I would expect 3rd party open source directshow filters to emerge before too long allowing conversion to any other format.

    I believe the program EO Video, which is on the tools section here i think, will do the trick.
