    I keep getting an error message that says "Can't authenticate drive Disk may be not lock" What does this mean and what am I doing wrong?? SOmeone please help me.

    I haven't used DVDx in a few months, but I vaguely remember this error. I believe if you start to play the DVD in a software player program like WinDVD or PowerDVD, hit pause and then start the ripping process, you either will no longer get the message, or the message will have an "OK" button and you can continue on after clicking it. Try it and see.
