DVDit Menu thumbnails flicker

I use DVDit 2.5 PE. I select my mpeg clip and drag to the menu to create a thumbnail button. When I play the DVD in my set top player, the thumbnails flicker while the rest of the menu is rock solid - any ideas?

Sounds like a similar prob to mine - I have some still images (frames taken from a video) in an intro sequence with music in the background. The still images taken from the video flicker, but the background doesn't. The background is just like a frame around a photo.

I thought maybe I deinterlaced the video when I encoded to mpg and this could be causing it ??? It doesn't flicker when played on my PC DVD drive...
