I posted earlier that my SVCD's seemed to be playing and sounding excellent on my "standalone" player, that was, until mid way through, where the picture just froze and the sound stopped, but the timer on the dvd player continued to move. It did this for "both" of the two CD-R'S. I ripped "Jaws" and made two SVCD's. Both with about 800 MB'S of info or 80 mins each. I thought I may of "overburned" but something just told me to try this in my computer's DVD player and BAMM, it worked through without a flaw. No problems at all. I immediately went to the point where it would constantly freeze on my Standalone DVD player, and it played smoothly on my computer's DVD. My standalone DVD player is a Sony and it plays VCD's and SVCD's. As a matter of fact, it actually says SVCD when an SVCD is in. Anyway, can anyone please help me resolve why this would lock up about half way through the CD on my standalone and NOT my computer's DVD? Thanks in advance for any help you may be willing to give.

Do NOT post the same topic on several forums. Once is enough. Please.
