I posted yesterday that I burned a copy of my DVD of Jaws using DVD2SVCD, TMPGPlusenc, and fireburner to burn. I made two CDR's. Both CDR-s are 700 MB, 80 min. When I played the SVCD in my DVD player which plays not only VCD's, but also recognized "SVCD's", they played perfectly, until about half way through were they just froze, both CDR's or "SVCD's!" I thought it may of been because I had about 79 minutes or actually 804 MB'S on one of the two CDR's, and I thought I may of overburned, although I am not exactly sure if that would be overburning, but I guess it would be..lol. Anyway, something told me just to try "both" SVCD's in my DVD Rom on my computer, and when I did, they both played great! I went to the parts on "both" SVCD's where the frame froze and the time just continued to elapse on my standalone DVD player, and BAAMMM, they played with no problems whatsoever. I even saw at the end of the first SVCD, a hand with a DVD in it, basically telling me that is the end of disk 1. If someone would please tell me what could of caused this problem, and how I can correct it, I would greatly appreciate it. I thought it may of been because I had too much info on one disk. I had read that you can "ONLY" put about 35-60 minutes on a CD-R for an SVCD, but I just burned another movie I have on DVD to my hard drive, and burned that on two CD-R's, again, one of the CD-R's being at 804 MB, and this time it played perfectly in my standalone. I can continue to keep testing, but being that it takes 7-12 hours for a decode/author/format/burn, I would appreciate it if someone would help.
