  5. The link to the site itself is working, the vcd help users link isn't. DOWNLOAD THE FILE NOW link is still working (don't know whether it is the same file though).

Not to nitpick. why not just provie liks to the utilities from you page.

Also remove anglepotion codec it's the most annoying codec ever, you should be using nimo. Divx 4.12? why not the updated divx5? XviD 10/17/2002 I believe is an unstable build that may produce files that cannot be read back by other mpeg-4 codecs or other versions of itself.

Doom9 has already done rip-packs that have their own guides to go along with them, why not just expand on those?

Angelpotion was a scam. Essentially it was wannabe divx3. It decompressed a copy of the beta microsoft mpeg4 drivers everytime you use it (and claimed to be written from scratch). Back in the day that it was busy scamming I saw a description of how it hosed up something or other, but it doesn't really matter *what* it was hosing up, now does it? There's no reason to be perpetuating that (or other crappy software).

Divx 5 free is essentially the same as divx4, so there's no reason to bother with 4 anymore.

Sorry to bitch but it just seems that perpetuating old junk will confuse newbies.

threw that up because so many OTHER ppl use it. Me? never. I'm a SVCD guy, or maybe VCD. Hardly ever divx or xvid. I was just trying to be helpful.

Had to take the other thing down for a minute

I'll re-post it again later tonight when I have it back up. just needed to do a little editing was all. sorry 'bout that if I inconvenienced anyone. Have it back up in a little bit
