I tried to make a lot of VCD's with different brands of cdr's, but none worked.
Cann someone plesa tell me which brand is the 'best' (that works on all DVD players, or allmost all)

The Thomson machine is really fussy about what disks it will read and also what speed they are written and with what burning software they are made with, indeed manual says that it will not read CDR but...
I had one about 6 Months ago (Have now sold it and bought a Sony 735 - which reads most things)and found the following was all I could get to work on it:-
Traxdata - Blue/silver disks
Nero Burning software
1 or 2 X Speed
