I have tried using tmgenc and CCE to convert divx to SVCD, and no matter what I do the movie/film always has reddish blocks, like the faces are red on half of the face, and then blocks appear in diff spots.
The divx has no errors, and has been scanned, the divx looks perfect when played, not sure why svcd is messed up, I have used the divx to svcd tutorials, and also used AVI2SVCD prog and set it up exactly as asked..
One other prob.. .besweet prog in avi2svcd took 2 hrs to convert audio, and was still running, I just looked at previews to see what the output of my movie was going to look like.
I had made a complete movie with just tmpgenc wizard and it came out with no audio, but still the reddish colors in various places..
any ideas?

to sort red blocks in TMPGenc go to options, environmental settings, VFAPI plugins, and up the priority on direct show multimedia file reader to 2 not -2
you know it's the anti-Midas touch when all you touch goes to shit.............. -
Thanks!!. now if I could only find out why tmpeg dropped my entire soundtrack..
