It may depend on your OS... Windows 95, 98 and ME use FAT32 for their file systems. This limits you to a 4GB (4096MB) file size. OS's such as Windows NT 4.0, Windows, 2000, and Windows XP use NTFS for their file systems and are not subject to the 4GB file size limit.

If you're running XP, Windows 2000, or Windows NT 4.0, then the problem may be something else and since I am not familiar with your software package, I probably won't be able to help.

  4. You use XP, but are all drives involved NTFS, or just FAT32 (this includes drives where temp files are stored)?
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

if u have ntfs, use a different program. No sense in being limited to 4 gigs, when u can create a file as big as ur hd
