perhaps you should ask that question to the company that owns the software!

I Believe PowerDVD 4.0 was the first to support SVCD.

I am well aware of Cyberlink tech support and how to use it Thanks for the info Snowmoon. As for you Tenders, you sound like a jerk and really shouldn't be a part of this forum with replies like that.

  5. You have to manually select the file in file mode, the DVD player doesn't recognize SVCD in disc mode, but 3.0 will play an SVCD in this manner.

Not certain, but it is quite possible that this information is revealed on the company website. It is also quite possible that Cyberlink has no idea what the desire level among its users is for SVCD play, a question to them would underline that.

I am a guest here, as are you and most others. As such, it is not our place to determine who should, and who should not, participate in this invaluable information exchange.

  6. I know how to put it in file mode but then what do I do? How do you open a file window in power DVD?

  7. Go to menu button and then select the file and add it to the Playlist.

  9. I like humor too, but I know the difference and if niether of you do, then please do not answer my posts. Now that's no so hard now is it? ( The previous sentence is patronizing, see the difference?) But I guess I could just say I was joking!
