  1. I am trying to get my files sizes down. I have made an hr movie that comes out 1gig with Divx thru Premiere 6.0. 2.3gigs mpg with LSX with Premiere. I have tried converting it down from the 2.3gig mpg to a smaller one but the sounds messes up. At 2hrs a encoding session I do not want to tie up my computer for a file that prolly won't work right. So I must ask can some one help me? The files fit onto VCDs fine but I know there is a way I can convert it down to 600mb or less. What programs or settings can I use? Right now the video sizes are 352x240 sound is 128bit. If some one could help I would be greatful. Thanks

  2. If you use a CBR of 950 with Divx you can get a file size of under 600 for only an hour of footage.

  3. It would probably be easier to use the wizard in tmpenc. It will allow you
to adjust the settings, such as lower birate, and will tell you an approximate file size when completed. For more advanced uses with CCE for example, use FitCD to calculate what birates you can use to fit a entire movie on one disk.
