    Sometimes when the camera is paning on the movie, i see "flimering" on the screen. ( it only appears after decoding to VCD )
    I do think it`s something wrong with my settings, but i really dont`know what.
    WHAT TO DO KNOW?????

  2. Newcastle,

    Please tell me;

    * which version of Tmpgenc you are using ?
    * At which resolution are you encoding ?
    * What is the source resolution (320 * 240 or a lot higher ?)
    * Do you use the wizard ?

    Flimmering in general is not a problem which is easily solved.
    You should realise that for instance converting a VCD (or DVD) to DiVX and then back to VCD (or DVD) will get you some considerable loss !
    It is not like an mp3 and a wave file which you can just convert on and off without quality loss (in general )

    There is a good guide for encoding on this site (look to your left)
    And next time use a better topic for your question.

    My resolution is 352 X 288
    I use highest quality and keep aspect ratio full screen.
