I have a problem. I am capturing using my Visiontek xtasy5564 everything agp capture card. When I capture using my vcr, the resultant DVD has ocassional dropouts in which the audio stops momentarily and the video gets a mosaic/artificta effect. It happens several times per 20 min. On my other dvd player it is less noticeable. I am using a p4 1.5 gig processor, 512 ram and windows 2000. This does not happen when capturing dvd. I have tried a radio shack stabalizer/enhancer which has helped somewhat, radio shack gold rca cables and upgraded to rca radio shack digital cables. Still that occasional problem. I even tried using the video stabalizer/macrovision remover alone and in conjunction with the enhancer. Does anyone have any suggestions. I believe this to be caused by inconsistent analog video signal from old tapes. Any help would be appreciated.![]()
