    I have movie that is 576x240. When I try to encode it the picture looks elongated. Is there anything I can do to have it look right

    I'm having a similar problem with the BMW films (www.bmwfilms.com) which are 720x300.

    Has anyone got an answer to this problem - I've got an avi file with resolution 688 x 288, everything is also elongated after burning to vcd

    Try using FitCD to create an AVS script with the correct resizing. Always works for me - assuming you use an encoder that can accept AVS scripts.
