Hi,
I have had a poke around the FAQS, and cant seem to find if it is possible to convert the dv footage from my cam corder straight into vcd compliant mpeg files,,,i want to use adobe to to put transistions etc on it before i convert it,,i can capture with adobe using my firewire (audigy) but cant seem to convert it to valid mpeg1 file to use in nero,, nero says it has to rencode it.
Can some one who has done this before please point me in the right direction,,,i have other software also,,lsx mpeg encoder and all the usual stuff if there is another option,,but i need to be able to put transistions and edit footage before encoding,,or it may be possible to add all this after encoding ??
Thanx in advance.![]()

I use...
DV>Premier 6.0>avi>TMPGenc>mpeg1
So i create an avi w/ premier and encode that to an mpeg using TMPGenc

Thats what i tried,,,,but when you add scene transitions and text etc etc, dosent adobe change the file type resulting in it not being a valid file to use in such programs as tmpeg ???
