  1. Hello all quick question I have backed up a few disks now to DVD + RW with success, Today I used DVD+R disks and just got coasters My drive supports both +RW and +R the disk i was backing up is a single layer disk so my method was to use DVD Decrypter in read and write mode I have used this before with the same disk but recording to +RW and had great results so i thought no problem with +R but i was wrong the disk is writen and goes through all the process well at the end I get message that the copy was successfull but the disk will not play in either of my standalone player or my PC Drive and then DVD Decrypter says that it is not a DVD Disk I know my players play +R so what has gone wrong
    Thanks

  2. I have a DVD+R/RW burner too, I and I have used Verbatim DataLife Plus DVD+R discs, Sony RW discs and HP RW discs and have made fully compatible discs. My PC DVD -ROM drive will not read ANY DVD+R/or RW discs, however, standalone player support is pretty good if u have a fairly new DVD player. Look at the database in the DVD players on the left, in the orange. They have a pretty good handle on support for various drives. Sometimes drives are media(as in brand) dependent to be able to read... Good luck.
