  1. I am using some DVD burners to burn my Mpeg 2 video into widescreen DVD dics but it fails.
Ulead DVD workshop is good but I don't know how to make it widescreen after burning. When I import my video into it, I don't see it widescreen any.

I have trouble with DVDit LE and PE. It does not allow me to burn. Why?I must do something more? My Mpeg file encoded by LSX Mpeg plugin Premiere.
If anyone has another best way to burn it widescreen, please teach or show me what to do.

    Any advice appreciated.
Thank you very much in advance.

  2. first of all.. is your original video widescreen?

if it's not, there's no point doing this anyway..

  4. well that's a good start

ok... second question.. is the video anamorphic? (ie full screen picture but widescreen ratio.. the people on the video will look vertically stretched if you view it on your PC)

if it's anamorphic there should be a menu option or something in your DVD authoring program.

if you still have your original file (the one before you encoded the MPEG) try encoding in TMPGENC..

    Hi all

if your dvd authoring package doesnt support anamorphic widescreen, (spruce up put your hand up here), you can produce the dvd as if it did then use IFOEDIT to make modifications to the IFO controlling files to get the desired result.

Instead of re-inventing the wheel I'll point you at

    http://www.ghorne.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/vidtest/vidframe.htm

which is the guide I used to do exactly what you want to do (I real time encode Enterprise from an anamorphic broadcast in the UK and I author the DVD in Spruce up 1.1)
