The .D2V (DVD2AVI Project file) does not serve audio frames, only video frames. You must decode the audio into Wave encapsulated PCM format first. DVD2AVI can do that directly through the the "Decode" option under Audio or it can "Demux" (extract from VOB) the AC3 track and you can decode later with your favorite program.
Then use the new .wav (caution: it will most likely be over 1 gig in size) file for the audio and the .d2v file for the video in TMPGEnc.
If, however, you are going to be burning a DVD-Video complient DVD-R, I wouldn't transcode the audio, just leave it as an AC3 track (using Demux option) and reauthor it with the "Video Only" track you are transcoding with TMPGEnc. -
The dvd2avi does creat the audio file but it will not load it. Im thinking I have the settings wrong. All the guides I look at have different audio options on the actual dvd2avi tool. Mine does not have that I have tried 2 different versions. Like I said I have done this many times with no probs but it has been a while.
Is there another toll that I can use to do the audio and then join it back in with tmpgenc and will it be in sync
