    Anyone knows where to download royalty-free footage for free?

    Hmm "royalty-free" is not the same as "free". I believe it only relates to footage that you purchase without having to pay per usage charges.

    If you really mean public domain footage, that's a bit harder to find and its subject content is not usually something the masses have much interest in (very generally speaking).

    Try searches online for "public domain video" instead.

    I had been there before but, for the life of me, couldn't find anything I was interested in DLing. Others may have more luck. :c)

    It's okay for Phish/Dead/Hookah concerts, but then again there are better places. I have to agree, unless you need a 5 second B/W clip of kids hiding under their desk because a nuclear bomb is coming from the Evil Soviets, there isn't much there.

    then by all means, tell us where!

    true, the footage there is not to everyone's taste, but if you know of another free site with 1,000+ movies freely available to download, I'd like to know about it, 'cause I haven't found it.
