    All of my conversions are to bright and saturated. Is there any way to fix this?

    Sure. In TMPGEnc, adjust them in the Setting-->Advanced tab. You have two color correction functions there. Choose thy poison.

    I toyed with the settings, still having the same problem during scenes that are well lighted, come out to bright, the rest is almost perfect. What other settings should I try?

    I think I found the problem, it was the configuration of my mpeg players themselves.
