When I used TMPG I used to rip the film in to section so they would fit on to the CDR. However now I am trying to come to grips with DVDX, I can see in the setting section you can ask it to rip the whole film or just part, but if I want to rip the second section of the film, how / where do I tell DVDx to start taking the frames from. Or does this software allow me to put a whole file onto one CDR??
Very new to this, please help.

When i ripped my dvd i ripped whole movie with DVDx
then you set the limit to half the movie length the
default limit is set to 730 but i got 75 mins on one cd and 18 on the other.
So guesstamate(new word) half your limit IE 550

Thanks for your reply, So, if I want it to do say 550 MB I put that in to the limit box. But when I come to rip the second sectio (ie the remanding part of the film after 550 MB) how do I tell DVD where to start.
Because if I then put say 150 MB in the limit section, it will start at the beging of the movie, and only rip 150 MB of the film which I allready have 559 MB of. -
The limit you set first (say 550 ) or half what you think the movie is. DVDx automatically sets up the correct position for second cd
