When I transcode with Tmpeg and author with SprueUp the audio is in synch and plays perfectly. When merge the m2v with Ifoedit the audio is always out of svnch. Why??

  2. When transcoding with tmpgenc you have to save the i frames in ifoedit to get it in sync. Open the main movie ifo in ifo edit and hit the button that says create tmpgenc template and save only the i frames. Check derrows site for full info but you let it start creating the file then hit cancel at about 2% then hit it again and it creates a .txt file. Assuming you use tmpgenc under the gop structure in tmpgenc there is a setting force picture type check it and hit the setting button next to it, this brings up a new window hit load and open the tmpgenc txt file ifoedit created tmpgenc will freeze for a few mins maybe longer and when it comes back the i frames are marked in red just press okay and she will freeze again for a coffee break then you can encode. Now i have tried this method but have yet to get tmpgenc to create a file as the damn thing freezes during the encoding process but it freezes all the time on me anyhow so give it a go. Hope this helps you can find full setting instructions on doom9.org.

Question .. can't you do this without the F frame lock now that ifoedit has dvd authoring built in ? cant it remux the tmpgenc signal using the dvd authoring portion without problems ?
