I'm trying to convert a 760mb divx (xvid) to mpeg2 svcd (two discs) am using tmpgenc plus but what ever settings I seem to use I get jerky playback not terrible but annoying , seems to be worse when camera pans. sound and picture are good and original divx is excellent. Anyone come across this before? the only other one I've done was an animation and that was OK.![]()

PS I'm doing sound and picture in tmpgenc

Jerky is probably small barley noticable pauses in motion esp in pans.
You have a frame rate mismatch. Search the forums to find out more information about converting Divx to your native format ( ie NTSC->PAL or PAL->NTSC ) in a way that will correct the problem. -
