My first stab at converting a widescreen avi to svcd is failing miserably. I've tried a bunch of different aspect ratio settings and I have a bunch of svcds with people that are either too tall or extra wide with the ends cut off. I know I'm overlooking something simple here. Here's what G-Spot tells me about my source:
    DivX 3 Low-Motion
    576 x 320 (1.800 : 1)
    23.976 FPS
    Duration 00h 45m 28s
    Avg Bitrate 556 kb/s
I would like to keep it widescreen with the borders on playback so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I knew it was a simple little thing messing with me, I think half my problems are I do this stuff late at night so I can let it encode while I'm in bed. Thanks Geek Rock, much appreciated!
