  1. I have power dvd that came w/ my sony vaio with a dvr-104 pioneer dvd-rw burner...anyway after i rip the dvd with dvd decrypter can i watch the movie or at least check to see if the audio is in sync before i go and encode and author it. this would save my a lot of time. i tried opening from hd in power dvd but nothing ever loads. thanks in advance.

  2. Yes you can do this, but only if you are ripping the entire disc. You need a valid VIDEO_TS.IFO file to play the movie. If you are just ripping the movie stream, then it won't work with PowerDVD.

    for the movie to work in power dvd - the .ifo file needs to be in CAPITALS.

    if it isn't - just rename it to be in such a format
