I have ripped the DVD onto my HD using Smartripper. I then use DVDx to openthe IFO - there is only 1 listed inthe directory I ripped. When I choose this IFO fileI obtain an error message:
"Cannot authenticate auth.dll"
Anyone else have this problem?

If you just click to get rid of it, the movie opens anyway. Perhaps to do with the fact that you are not opening a file from the dvd drive?

Just disable the ASPI/DeCSS in DVDx, it is just trying to authorize your DVD, but since the files are located on your HDD, it gives you that message.
