  1. hello!

    i have a video cd (i think mpeg-1) . if i convert it into mpeg-4

    then quality of video will increase ..... ? then what are the requirments

    i have : p-iv , 512 mb ram,40gb hdd ,nvedia tnt2 32 mb agp card ,lg cdrom and cd writer (no dvd) .nero burning rom

    is it possible to convert mpeg1 - mpeg4 . ?

    please help me and respond asap............

    Quality will not increase in a conversion, ever.

    at best it could stay almost the same.

  3. If re-encoding could increase the quality of a video, they'd just digitize all those old classic films and re-encode them. Presto, like brand new! But...

    It doesn't work.

    You can't polish a turd (or, more delicately put, you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear). Any improvement is mostly an illusion.
