  1. Sorry for the dumb question, but I can't copy VCD's that I've created with VCDEasy. I have hte following hardware:
    SCSI Plextor 12x4x32
    SCSI Plextor 32x reader
    Win98

I've tried the following software for copying:
    Plextor's DiskDupe
    Nero 5.5.9.0
    CDRwin 3.9b
    CloneCD 3.2.1.1

All above software will fail trying to make a copy of the VCD, either on the fly or as an image to the hard drive. The VCD will play on my DVD player with no problems, so it's not like the VCD is scratched or marginal in any way. I even did a test by burning a fresh VCD and I get the same results.

    Any ideas?

  2. Thanks for the reply, and I did try VCDGear, but it slows way down and does not give an elasped time or time remaining. The file gets to ~7 megs then really slows down to where it's only adding 2-3k every minute.

I tried the disk in both my DvD and CD-RW with the same results.

    ***EDIT***
It looks like the disk I was trying was defective some way. I tried the other disk (cd#2) and it worked fine with VCDGear. I tried to play the disk using PowerDVD, and it would stall about 30 seconds into the movie.
