when I try to encode a VCD from a ripped DVD, at 0.3% dvdx says

"MPEG2Dec: Too much sample
Try other frame rate or change "Detect/Force 24Hz" flag"

I change the detect 24hz in all ways and it still doesnt stop giving this error. I just cant convert the dvd... Any idea on what the problem is?
