What is a program that can tell me the actual video format? I have some .mpg and .avi but I don't know which codecs they are using and so forth. Thanks for the help.

Check the TOOLS section of this site. Look for a program called G-spot.

Thanks guys... that's what I needed... but what about .mpg? I don't know the difference between mpeg1 and mpeg2 and there seem to be alot of mpeg codecs. Again thanks for ya'lls help.
