  1. I am not sure if my VCD player plays CD-R's, but I want to make sure that I'm doing this right. All I have to do to allow the VCD player to read my VCD is make the VCD with Nero as described, correct? Or do I have to add a special file (autorun or something).

  2. Wait, wait! Before you start burning, look to VCDHelp's compatibility list for your player to see if it plays CD-Rs!

My best suggestion is to make the MPEG files as VCD compliant as you can. No, you don't need any special files. Depending on your player, it should work just fine!

  3. Actually, its my friend's VCD Player, and I did check. I believe it was "untested" under the CD-R category. I was just wondering if I needed a special file. I dont think it plays any type of CD-R (poopies). Thanks

  4. If it is a stand-alone VCD player (i.e., NOT a DVD player), it should have any problems reading CD-R media as it is based around a CD-ROM drive.
