Good day Baldrick,
I'm kind of curious to know if the "donations" system is paying for this site...
I was thinking the other day that this site actually has a LOT of traffic of a very select audience AND that there is a good sense of community in the forums. If, for example, you made a specific forum where people could advertise something they were selling on, say, Ebay on the condition that they, say donate half of the earnings, or a "posting fee", etc. (obviously up to discussion), then it may help with keeping this site up and around.
What does everyone think?
Regards.

That sounds like a cool idea. I would be more apt to buy something from a registered vcdhelp forum paitron than some shmoe on ebay that I don't even know.

Cool idea. Best solution would be a charge for each ad, but hard to manage. Better "donate once and be allowed to post 4ever".

As long as you keep buy www.mushkin.com memory should the site be up and running...
But I could make an advertising forum of some kind anyway... -
Sounds good to me as well, as I do alot of buying selling and trading on a different forum
