    I am using DV capture, TMPGenc 12i, and Nero. I have tried many templates and options. I have even tried fix12c.exe on the files but I still get a scrunched up display on my Pioneer deck. Anyone have any other clues as to why?

    Try using VCDImager to create the bin/cue and CDRWIN to burn the CD. You can create both VCD and SVCD's. This is how I burn all my videos. I just bought a 503 yesterday and they work fine. I've had problems with Nero before so I gave up on it.
