  1. is it able to have 2 or more subtitles on a vcd ?, if not on vcd, on which can i ??

    and, one more, you ppl talk about kvcd, cvd and all those, can someone explain those ALL formats to me, i would like it, and read it with pleasure, :P :P

    VCD doesn't support overlay subtitles, they have to actually be added to the picture. So you can really only add one set. SVCD supports selectable overlay subtitles like DVDs have (in theory, at least, not all DVD players support them), and I think the standard allows for 4 sets.

    KVCD is a set of tmpgenc templates for producing a non-standard VCD that may or may not work on your DVD player. Some people are able to fit a lot of video on one CD with decent quality. The site for these templates is http://www.kvcd.net/.

    KVCD:
    KVCD is a modification to the standard MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 GOP structure and Quantization Matrix.
    These changes are reflected in various TMPGEnc templates.
