    After going through the Newbie guide or idiot guide, which pertains to me, I am ready to burn the movie but I get a message telling me my burner does no support DVD-R. I thought, from my limited knowledge, that a DVD+R could handle this. I am using a HP DVD Writer 200j. How can I make this compatible with a DVD-R?

    hp burners only support dvd+r or +rw, not dvd-r, sorry.
