I'm finally getting into ripping my own DVDs, and I just need a quick tip on registering this program... I have found a couple serial numbers, but I have no idea how to register the product! The link provided with the program seems to be out of date (www.jpg.com/register.html), and this is supposed to be the newest version out there! There's also a tip about using the "configuration/about" button in the codec window, but where the heck do I open it up? Where is the program installed to? It doesn't even tell me!
I only really ask because I'm converting a lot of quicktime movie trailers over to avi with RadTools then to mpg with TMPGEnc. But during the mov->avi conversion, the stupid codec puts these www.jpg.com + PIC Video ads in the files it makes... I doubt this would happen if my codec was registered...
If anyone with this codec who has the full version is willing to help me out, It'd be very much appreciated!

Here is the link http://www.pegasusimaging.com/picvideospecial.htm where you can pay $18 for non commercial use. What program are you using to capture? When you select video compression PicVideo mjpeg codec shouild be a choice with the option to configure. If you click on configure you have the option enter the your name and serial number for the compressor and decompressor, which you pay $18, and configure the codec. You can also find the codec by going to settings/sounds and multimedia/hardware/scroll down to video codecs/properties/properties/picvideo codec/settings in Win 2K. In win 98basically the same path but uinder the vidoe tab in multimedia.
