Friends i am using p4-1.7cpu system witha ati all in wonder pro 128 , while i watch movies from video on monitor the picture keeps flashing same is the result if i try capturing it too, i tried to uninstall and reload the software but no results my friend has an earlier model all in wonder for pentium 3 i fixed that one there was no flashing but i could not capture as it kept on telling vertical settings , any way that was his , i capture indian flims on pal mode (b) . can any one help me with this problem .

  2. Hello mansur, what O/S are you using? and... what ATI drivers.. is this just a recent problem or has it been since the start, have you changed your pc set-up at all recently? more information from you will help others get a better idea of the problems you might be having.

  3. I have AIW 128 and I have the same problem when I try to capture movies from recorded VHS in PAL-M (Brazilian standard) format. The screen flashes in random basis. If I capture directly from Antenna or from NTSC records, everything works fine.

    Did you change the broadcast standard in the tuner to the PAL-M standard before capturing? If not you need to do so even if you’re capturing from a composite/s-video connection. The card won't do it automatically.

  5. I am using an all in wonderr 128 pro and the driverson the cd it says107 and the digital vcr says 7.1, this problem is from the begining means recently installed card , and while trying to watch or capture the formay selected is pal -B. pls help or advice.

    there r some special vcr for capture called ntsc pure,it have a button to set the composite out, if u dont have a transcoder,and want to cap pal tapes in AIW (i have 1 too) try put a trim-pot inline with the video out and adjust the image untill the white flashes vanishes...see=>

Hello friends , i would surely aprreciate the vcr head defective idea, but then again i experimented with an earlier version of ati 128 software version 4.10.8100 my picture is stable but i cannot capture it says something like vertical shycronising man i tried everything on ati monitor setting but i am pretty bugged can anyone help.
