Was wondering if anyone would be interested in sort of a contest....it seems the more I read, everyone wants quality, quality, quality....well I do to, I use TMPG, and have come up with a baseline template for VCD...soooo I was wondering if anyone wouldnt be interested in trade/show of hands so to speak, to see who's is better etc...Im only interested in VCD format because my player does not support SVCD,
The only rules I can think of that are needed are:
1) Video bitrate has to be 1150+
2) Prefer audio bitrate to be 192, but will take 128 (& b4 you ask, yes I can hear the difference in the two)
3) Since they are common, templates would have be able to fit a typical 2 hour on 2 80 min CDs.
Anyone up for this?....and for those who prefer other encoders....only thing I could think of is to open my FTP, and you can up/down lets say 30-45 sec clip to compare???
This is all just a thought, because I see a lot of post of people asking what app or settings makes the best quality...and thought this way may be a little easier than being told to play with settings that maybe most dont truly understand....(think I'll post this over at Doom9 as well)
