  1. In Tmpgenc,under video source settings there a aspect ratio of 2.11:1.
    I was just wodering what 2.11:1 would b used for when encoding ???

    For very wide screen movie. For example: DVD "Gladiator".

  3. Actually I think the answer is you'd never use it. Sure "Gladiator" and other movies are very wide, but 2.11:1 isn't in the DVD specs so I don't think any DVD players will display it properly. 16:9 and 4:3 are currently the only Aspect Ratio supported by DVD players. When playing back (S)VCD most players don't even support the 16:9 ratio. So I can't think of a real situation where you would actually use a 2.11:1 DAR.
