    I'm quite new to making VCDs and have had no problem getting my head around it except for one small (but annoying) thing. The picture on VCDs ripped from DVDs are quite jerky, but there is no problem with the sound. The VCDs are still watchable, the picture quality is excellent except for the jerking. This is what I use:

    CladDVDXP
    DVD2AVI
    TMPGEnc 2.57.41.146
    Nero 5590

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Are you using the correct template, you have 3 options PAL, NTSC and NTSCfilm.
