    Cannot rip dvd to my hdd with any software. Errors about not having aspi drivers. Downloaded adaptecs lastest. Will not install properly. Have not got a burner, has this got anything to do with it? Getting really frustrated spent hours looking for a solution, maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Can anybody help me please?
    Maybe running Win 2000 has some bearing on it.

    The installation BAT file that comes with ForceASPI didn't work properly when I installed it on WIN98 SE. I had to install it manually. Open that BAT file with a text editor, find out which file is to be copied to where, then copy it yourself.
