Hi. I realized that I would need to re-encode Death to Smoochy. So, I am following a guide to do so. It tells me to extract the DD 5.1 track, and re-encode the video. It says to save the video as an M2V file.
When I am going to go into Spruce to build my DVD, what do I do? Will it import the M2V file, and then import the AC3 automatically? This is my first time re-encoding a movie, and I want to get it right.
Thanks in advance!

when you start spruce up, you have three icons on the top of the box on the left hand side. click on the third icon from left, the movie icon. then double click on the large empty box below and then it will prompt you to go to where you have stored your .m2v file. but before you do this make sure that you have renamed the .m2v file and the.ac3 file the same. ie if your film was snatch then they would be snatch.m2v and snatch.ac3 respectively. it will then take the .m2v file and automatically take the .ac3 file thereafter. hope this helps. if not i can email you any further help.

Sounds easy enough. Thanks!
But my damn TMPGEnc won't work. The MPEG-2 trial period expired, it says. Don't have money to purchase the full version, so I'm screwed.
