    hi, does anyone know a hack for the Sony DAV-S500 so i can any region on it without getting it chipped??

    sorry i meant, so i can play any region etc on.

    There is one, according to this site, for the Sony DAV-S300, would it be the same for the S500 or does anyone know of a hack specifically for the DAV-S500.

    thanks for the help guys

    the reason i asked was because under DVD Compatability lists when searching for the Sony DAV-S500, under even more features "Region Code free with remote control" is the only one not scored out, so i assumed there may be a hack.
