Load into TMPGEnc, load SVCD template click start.

Tell us what you think of the output ?

Just because it was made with Xvid does not tell us anything the source could be a DVD rip converted to Xvid (from a DivX) or it could be a CAM converted to Xvid...

    bwodie,
If your looking for the latest Xvid codecs you can find them here:
http://www.divx-digest.com/software/xvid.html Myself I prefer using Koepi's Binary seems to be a little faster.
    Warning! I'm baaaaaaaaack

Just one thing, Xvid (DivX backwards) has stopped developing this codec. Someone ripped it of for a graphic card, and until it has been sorted, xvid is no more. However many people have reported faults with it, despite this I don't see any point of it at all.

DivX V4 was the last of this type before it became commercial as DivX 5, however DivX 3.11 Alpha is still the most widely used codec with no real improvements to shout about with these newer codec's.

If you want to use what most people are using, and use a free codec, use DivX 3.11 Alpha (Low motion)

The inclusion of b-frames in DivX 5 was a major breakthrough in my opinion. It allows much better quality for a given filesize, or a much smaller filesize for a given quality. 8)

Getting the codec's just to decmpress, is the main use of them around here and I am sure you don't want to buy one just to unpack a file, or use a spy wear version comes to that..
