  1. OK probably a very stupid question but. My version of TMPGEnc has gone beyond it's 30 days so looking to register it although it does say it is FREEWARE so a little confused here. Anyway do I need to get the Plus version or am I missing something with regards the FREEWARE one. Tried to install the latest version but it still says I have an expired copy.

  4. MPEG-1 is free to use,MPEG-2 is 30 day trial.
Why don't you buy it and help support great programs.

Well this is what I was querying it doesn't make it clear that the issue is with MPEG2 or at least to me it didn't and certainly quite happy to support great programs if I can find out how to register as it does give you the impression that you can register the TMPEG program yet when you go to the registration site it talks about the Plus version and then goes on to say that the plus version is for commercial stuff.

Your reading outdates pages, TMPGEnc went commercial a short time ago, so now when you have tried the Free version, your "registration" means you go along and buy the plus version.

I guess the confusion is the old pages, linking to the new one's
