Anyone know why I'm getting the following and how to combat?
I've authored a DVDcompliant movie in Ulead DVDwrkshop 1.2.
It was made from two AC3 AVI files which I converted to mpeg2 23.976 w/pulldown. Ulead takes the files no prob, and authors them.
When I playback on the PC or DVDplayer, the film is perfect right up until the point where the second AVI would start (halfway) - the audio drops out.
No sound for the remainder of the film.
When I preview before mastering in Ulead, the audio is there.
I tried authoring the two avis as seperate sections on the DVD (part1, part2) both with chapters, same thing as with them appended in Ulead.
Any ideas? I previously did the same thing with another movie which had no problems.
I thought it might be something to do with the filesizes, but both mpeg2 sections are the same - just over 2gb.
Any ideas?
Is there another prog I could use to author MPEG2 ac3 5.1 with?
I couldnt get spruce up to work with AC35.1 23.976>29.97 video - it didnt like the pulldown I think.
