I have posted an earlier message about having problems cutting in TMPG. It seems that the video is not reconized. It just is a grey image that won't do anything.

I have alway used TMPG and had much success with it. I have three different videos now and they all do the same thing.

I start with them being avi files. I encode them with TMPG, then try to cut them with it as well. Like i said, I have done many like this is in the past but now for some reason no luck.

I have recently started using a new comnputer, and that is when this problem arose. The computer is newr, faster, etc.

Any suggestions on what might be wrong?

I have tried mpeg corrector, and when i try to de-multiplex, TMPG freezes.

ok,

I just tried a de-multiplex in TMPG. After it is done the video portion is fine when I try to cut it. So I multiplex it, and the cuttting won't work! Does this mean a audio problem?
