Am I trying to do something which is not achievable?
I have a *cheap and cheerful* cap card ( Lifeview ) and what I want to do is this.
Play and capture a VHS 60min Tape and output it to a CD which can be played on any computer by any *idiot*.
I have a reasonable host capture PC running Win2K, 1.8 Athlon,712 MB DDRAM with access to Adobe Premiere v 6 , Media Cleaner, ULead VDO Studio Pro and others.
I have no problem with HDD size providing I can capture and output in good quality to a single CDROM>
My friend tells me that the cap card is not ood enough.
Any help appreciated. Right now the captured VDO is in avi format and although captured at 25fps , it is jerky and not good enough.
Thx
