  1. Hi. I am trying to rip a dvd to my hard disk.

I was following the instructions on this website:

    http://www.vcdhelp.com/pinoy2201sdvdrippinguide.htm

When I go to the 3rd step where I have to look for a .lst file, I couldn't find any that Smartripper made.

    Can anyone help me please?

    Thanks a lot!

lst files are not contained on dvds. A lst file is just a text file that loads all of your vobs as a whole. In this guide it is assuming that Smartripper is making the lst file for you, and it should be able to do this with any dvd. Make sure that create list file is checked in Smartripper, look in the settings option.

Or you can just make your own, it only takes a couple of secs.

Just open notepad and type in the path and filename of each of your vobs, each vob on a separate line. so an example lst file would be

    C:\VOBS\VTS_2_01.VOB
    C:\VOBS\VTS_2_02.VOB
    C:\VOBS\VTS_2_03.VOB
    C:\VOBS\VTS_2_04.VOB
    C:\VOBS\VTS_2_05.VOB

Then just save it as "filename.lst"
